Born in California, Margy graduated high school 2 years early and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California where she and her husband Charlie raised their family. In 1978 they moved onto a sailboat in the Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, CA. She lived and painted in this lovely seaside town until her passing in 2021. She spent most of her life traveling, sailing, snorkeling, and painting the ocean and the Earth. Her enduring work shows a love of the natural world, and spotlights her varied talents with brush and color.
