This image, made after a rain in Channel Islands Harbor, won a First in peer judging for the Ventura County Maritime Museum’s 2005 Plein Air Painting exhibition. It is a show stopper in my gallery. I enjoyed playing with textures and reflections. There really was a bird on almost every rock.
